Hyperion Therapeutics, Inc. (Hyperion), incorporated in November 2006, is a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat disorders in the areas of orphan diseases and hepatology. The Company develops Ravicti (glycerol phenylbutyrate) to treat the prevalent urea cycle disorders (UCD) and hepatic encephalopathy (HE).
